On November 3rd, the international social tea party organized by the School of Management at Shanghai University of Engineering Science provides a platform for international students studying in SUES to make friends through tea. By understanding different dietary cultures, we can delve deeper into the cultural geography of different countries and deepen our friendship with each other.

At the beginning of the tea party, we tasted traditional Chinese green tea and Pakistani tea made by Khan.Chinese green tea is selected from Longjing, which ranks first among the top ten famous teas in China. Longjing tea is famous for its green color, beautiful shape, fragrant aroma, and mellow taste. Its unique light yet distant and fragrant yet clear charm and extraordinary quality are unique among many teas. The history of milk tea in Pakistan is also very long. The milk tea in Pakistan can be divided into two types: sweet milk tea and salty milk tea. This time, Khan produced sweet milk tea, which is made from fresh milk, white granulated sugar, black tea, and Pakistani cardamom (a locally grown and dried fruit with a unique aroma). It is an indispensable beverage for the Pakistani people in their daily life and social life. While enjoying the delicious taste, we successfully hosted the tea party.

In the subsequent stage, there was a competition for the production of spaghetti and cotton candy towers. Students from different countries and regions were randomly assigned to build them together, and everyone worked together to bring the atmosphere of this tea party to a climax. The ultimately successful group received a commemorative and exquisite notebook gift box with the logo of the School of Management.

The final session is drumming while the others pass round a spray of blossom followed traditional Chinese cultural customs. With the end of the music, students holding flowers took turns to showcase their talents on stage. We also enjoyed everyone's dance and songs, marking a successful conclusion to this event.

Through the traditional diet of tea as a bridge, friendship and exchange between students from various countries have been built. At the same time, traditional Chinese culture has been promoted, national confidence has been enhanced.
